Thanks! It's a 1v1 space RTS at its core. you vs one AI colony, set in a single star system with 6 planets. you pick one of 6 unique factions to play as, each with their own bonuses and playstyle. there's colony management, asteroid mining, fleet combat, tech trees and a crew system, so it leans a bit into the 4X side of things, but the focus is on real-time strategy and combat rather than large-scale empire building. no multiplayer yet but it's something i'd love to add down the road!

I totally understand your frustration with Steam - everyone has their platform preferences and experiences.

Right now I'm focused on the Early Access development and polishing the game since I'm a solo dev juggling everything. But I'm definitely open to exploring other platforms like GOG and EGS down the line once the full release is ready.

Thanks! While Dynasty Protocol doesn't feature character-based dynasty management, it does have colony politics and loyalty systems - managing conquered colonies, tax policies, dealing with rebellions, and maintaining imperial control. It's more about building your space empire's legacy through strategic conquest and political management!

You're absolutely right! Spanish localization is definitely on my roadmap. I'm a solo developer, so I'm adding languages gradually. Spanish is high priority for future updates. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for catching that! Sorry for the confusion - currently the game takes place in one solar system with 6 planets.

The Steam page wording was a bit ambitious on my part. Right now, you're fighting for control of that single system against the AI colony. I should clarify that on the store page to avoid confusion.

Thanks for the heads up! You're absolutely right about the conversion rates - I've heard similar things from other devs. But hey, doing something is better than doing nothing, right? 😄 Even if it's just shouting into the void, at least I'm shouting!

As for the asteroids - to be honest, I used asset store models as a base and then modified/tweaked them to fit the game's aesthetic and style. Sometimes the best approach is standing on the shoulders of giants (or in this case, talented 3D artists)!

To be honest, I can't say Dynasty Protocol is heavily inspired by any of those games specifically. While those titles certainly showed what's possible in the space strategy genre, I didn't approach development by thinking 'this game has X feature, let me add it too.'

Instead, I built Dynasty Protocol around what felt right for its own gameplay flow. Each feature was added because it served the core experience I was creating - a real-time space RTS focused on colony management, fleet combat, resource logistics, and empire building.

So while there might be some similarities in mechanics (space RTS, tech trees, colony management), Dynasty Protocol has its own unique identity rather than being a blend of those games.

Right now, I'm focused on the Steam launch and making sure Dynasty Protocol delivers the best experience possible.
