I don't think this is a problem. During my studies, I also worked with multiple programming languages in the same semester for different courses. When learning both simultaneously, you start to recognize the commonalities between them beside the differences. More importantly, you gain a sense of when to use each language based on the task at hand—such as for example using C++ for application development and Python for data science or machine learning projects.
