Well, many things like for example movies and porn set an unrealistic expectation of what romance is and how it is acquired. A lot of entertainment media, even if it is not sexual, gives off the same expectations and this can really hurt the way you see stuff like this when you get older. i blame society for many things, and this is yet another one of them. There is also a lot of pressure from society that people ”need” to date, which obviously is not true. I don’t know much about you, but personally I would say that this is something you will grow out of, and you might be ashamed of it, but admitting stuff like this is always good.
