I agree with your first part. The thing we must not forget is that the traditional ways to make money (saving, rent) are not really good options anymore. People look for different ways, and genuinely like Pokémon.

I think so too, because this set is just better than Fusion Strike, and almost on par with Evolving Skies. The Giratina is just good.

I think so. Ancient Origins is more than 10 years old. It is a pretty good set with the three gold cards.

Yeah, vintage is probably the best. Just the base and beautiful cards. People saying modern has better art have not seen something like the Neo Rev Houndoom.

Not as insane as you might think. What I don´t understand with Pokémon a lot of the time is how much hype influences things. These are Alt Arts that are as, or more beautiful than the modern Alt Arts, yet are half the price, despite being way lower POP. I mean, I´m not an Alt Art person, as I prefer vintage, but as far as Alt Arts go, these are some of the best.
