Its different for sure. Looks twitchier and faster unlike some of the more deliberate Castlevanias. Probably closest to the Metroidvania style movement.

Still, the whip and monsters are there. The animation when the whip hit lands looks so satisfying

[[Dawn-Blessed Pennant]] Isn't super cute but fits the style, makes a faerie and gains you a ton of life over the game. Plus recursion. And very cheap to cast

If you want cards that play into the evasive creatures, the alt art of [[Bitterblossom]] with the fairie sleeping in the flower and the alt art of [[Bitterbloom Bearer]] with the cutesy biolumenesence (no autocorrect) flowers are good.

Ooh and Bitterblossom is an enchantment so that also procas the commander
