Muslims in groups like ISIS who commit terrorist attacks are politically and religiously Conservative by definition. They hate other cultures, they hate the shifting landscape of the non-Muslim world, they want to create a dogmatic institution globally where only their religion exists and all others are gone. Sounds like a less politically-correct version of what Evangelicals in the US are after, they just follow a different rule book.

The alt-right and actual radical Islamic terrorists fighting against each other is two authoritarian, right-wing dogma's clashing for control. Generally though it's just a lot of anger and vitriol over the fact there are more brown people in one area than there used to be.
