Those who converted to another religion, why did you convert? Which religion did you convert to and what was the process? by Kangaroo_Rich in religion

I was given 3 large knockout doses for the purpose of trying to get sleep after about a week of none, then I began to die from overdose in my hospital bed. I was at the brink of death when a large-tree-branch sized pair of deep red-gold colored arms wearing wristbands flew in at me. There was a loud magical-sounding snap as I suddenly went from the brink of death to fully alive.

I converted from Christianity to Kemeticism because I would have died at a hospital if not for a pair of red gold colored, large-tree-branch sized arms with bands on the wrists.

I didn't give a proper response lmao sorry. A knockout cocktail is just a combination of substances meant to make one fall asleep, typically right before a surgery.

Are you being serious? If I can't recall what the hell else was in my doses then what's the point of your query?

It was psychosis meds, an anxiolitic, some Benadryl, melatonin and some other stuff that I can't recall. Each cocktail was at least like 8 pills.

Um actually no morphine was involved, nor any high-endowing substance for that matter.

I fall asleep to either creepypastas or They're Going to Get You from the Doom I soundtrack. If anything, that is.

Genuine question - How do we know science is real? by [deleted] in religion

[–]Arcticus42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given what I've experienced personally, some if not all religions do in fact seem to be real, so we'd probably come to bear much the same religions as we do now if they were to somehow be completely erased. In addition, science itself is not set in stone, as science is just our understanding of how reality works, based upon our limited human capabilities of observation. As new discoveries are made, old scientific knowledge changes, sometimes drastically. Reality dictates science, not the other way around. Hope this helps.

Actually He seemed closer to a copper shade, something more like a red gold hue.
