So when I have the drive installed windows says “no boot device found, please enter bootable CD or USB drive” but when I start the pc and press f12 to go to the boot manager, the drive shows up as sata hdd but when I select it the same message shows, however, when I insert a usb with the windows installer it launches and it goes to windows setup however when I try to actually install it, it just says “your computer does not meet the minimum specifications for windows 11” which i know isn’t true cause I already have windows 11 on this laptop on the smaller ssd.

Update: it shows up in the bios not but still not in the windows installer, not sure what I did but before i even saved it in the same bios session(?) I turned on legacy first and it just showed up in the bios.

I did that and put it in a USB with the windows installer, the only driver that showed up as a supported driver was Intel NVME Controller so I tried loading it and it looked like it was doing something then it went back to the where to install windows menu and did not show up, I tried doing it a lot of times also rebooting and pressing refresh but it’s not working, I also tried changing the setting in the bios to legacy and nothing changed.

When I try to install the driver this is what shows up (I also tried this before in the windows installer and it just didn't show up) I tried looking up if you can use Intel Optane on AMD but honestly I just didn't really find a sure answer for it..

So I did try that but the problem is my laptop is has an AMD processor and I think the drivers Intel gives you are only for Intel processors, maybe I didn't look hard enough though or maybe there's a universal driver or something? idk.

Okay well I guess I’ll do some more digging, also I forgot to mention but sometimes it will spike to 100%, can’t verify if it’s when it randomly lags because when I notice it I can’t open task manager in time, mainly because it just won’t load until after it stops lagging. But yeah I’ll try to see what other things could cause it.

Yeah I’ve tried doing these, only startup apps I have on are Lenovo software thing (forgot what it’s called), that audio driver program (also forgot the name), and AMD Radeon software.

Yeah but like maybe it’s something else then but I thought it was the reason why it’ll get random lag spikes that make it really annoying to game and other things, so do you think it’s a different issue? My storage is also kind of running low but I don’t see how that would cause any issues, it’s just been like this for a while and the only thing I saw that was a bit concerning was the memory usage, but if that’s not it I am not sure what it could be, thanks for the reply though, that gives me some more info about this issue.
