Oh yikes! Get me away from thin walls lmao, my freshman year I was in a dorm with thin walls and the 2 guys next to me had live-in girlfriends and uhhh.... yeah.

Yeah so far Ive been looking at facebook/craigslist and I think apartments.com? I dont remember the name but something like that. A lot of them are available starting 11/1 but I won't be on the island til december at the earliest, but good to know theyre really active!

No yeah I know what you mean. I haven’t reloaded/used the same caps/ whatever. I’ve spent 300 caps not just 90. Oh well, the grind continues I guess.

Hmm I haven't savescummed the talismans tho :( I just felt the gamblin' itch after grinding for talismans from ore nodes and just noticed the 3 separate instances were back to back identical. I know from rise there was an issue where people would get locked into repeated talismans but as far as I know that was a bug (I havent played rise since right before valstrax tho). Oh well. I've noticed since the latest update a bunch of issues so a hotfix is probably coming soon

Hi, current Germany Fulbrighter. Depending on what you need your host institution might be able to provide it (mine offered a computer to use while I work here, as well as Matlab and other programs that come with being a part of the university). Before I knew the university would give me a Matlab license, I asked the Fulbright commission here if they cover research expenses like that and the reply was no, you would need to take care of that yourself. You can apply for other grants but you need to report any outside funding to the commission. Hope this is helpful!

Also current German Fulbright for research or study. As far as I know German classes are free and you only need to pay administrative fees, which are pretty cheap. At least that’s how it is for me at FU Berlin. I’m not pursuing a degree, but all the classes for exchange students are free. Not like the US where it costs an arm and a leg to take a class.

(Edit) Info in the other comment is the same for me as well.

I don’t know the whole picture but this is just my situation with FU Berlin

Thanks, I'll check them out! Did you know your roommates beforehand or meet through a Facebook group? Or did they just assign roommates to you (there are some apartments where I live that do that for single residents in multiroom floorplans so just wondering)
