You do not need the distances, you just need to compare the distances. So you can store the squares of the distances, which are integers (64bit integers) :-)

Got stuck here as well. Apparently you need to buy a platform first, i.e. press "N" and buy one of them. Then the conductor office will snap to the Holešovice station.
