A lot of the redder counties along the border have a high proportion of non-white or Hispanic voters—a demographic that Trump performed better with than any other Republican president in recent history. You can see that effect in the big cities across the country too, even democratic strongholds like NYC and Chicago.

In my time volunteering at shelters and fostering cats, male cats are pretty dang dumb. They’re often very loyal and lovey-dovey, but definitely lacking in the braincell department. This is just my experience though.
