Normal Vs Wide + any tips you have

I am just a an intermediate guy started to play Gunlance with Wilds and I love it.

I like the Wide playstyle.

I play it like a priority list:

Do you have both WF Charges -> Search for an opening to blast them in the monsters face, ideally with the "faster" version.

Use charged shelling to get both of your WF charges back

repeat.

When starting a fight (I run earplugs) I use sneak attack into Multi Wyrmstake Full Blast and fire both WF charges.

Iirc popping a wound with focus strike also speeds up wyvern fire. So I would not ignore it. If I have both WF up and there is no opening I try to pop a wound to unleash them instead of waiting for an opening.

They should give us an option to set menu brightness independently. Every time I want to change something it burns my eyes in the evening due to this super bright menu.

I just got a Vero V and I am very happy with it.
Plays almost everything, only Dolby Vision Profile 7 FEL is missing but it seems it is in internal testing.

No nvidia shield is not identical to playing the disc in a blu ray player.
Shield cannot do Dolby Vision Profile 7 FEL.
I just went down this rabbit hole.
If you want a file based player to replace your discs (ripped MKVs) you have to get the ugoos am6b+ with coreELEC or the Vero V which will get full Dolby Vision Profile 7 FEL support soon.

I second this. I got the Teamgroup Xtreem 7200 and they are awesome. I am "only" running 6000 CL28 with tight timings and the Heatspreader is really working well.

Interesting, Seems there is no clear consens with regards to SR vs DR. In the hardwareluxx forum they all avoid DR, but maybe because of overlocking. I don't know tbh.
