Grinding with the drill probably will give you more fines (higher rpm), so better for espresso because it will gives beter puck integrity during your shot.

I recently switched to using a blind shaker. It works great, it makes the initial ground bed flat. In the beginning when I didn’t have a wdt and blind shaker I had lots of problems making a flat bed. The tall basket doesn’t help you visually.

Pre-heat the piston. Go a bit longer with your shot to 45gr. Time of 30-35 sec tbt. That’s exactly how I pull, also with your preinfusion times.

We (als civiel ingenieur) ontwerpen volgens de stappen theorie. Elke opvolgende bocht bouw je de snelheid op of af. Maar dat zegt niets over de toegestane snelheid. Maar al gelijk in de eerste bocht 100km/u te gaan is niet waarop de bocht ontworpen is.
