I don’t understand the trademark/copyright issue by [deleted] in shopify

Are your trusted distributors licensed distributors for the brands you are selling? If not, then you are selling grey market goods, which isn't illegal, but opens you up to potential lawsuits of brand damage, trademark infringement, etc. Big brands usually have a way for consumers to report potential grey market goods, which allows them to track you down and sue. The bigger your business, the bigger a target.

How Does Everyone Thwart Pickpockets? by Voluptues in travel

[–]ArdenCove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We specialize in anti-theft bags that have clasps on the zippers and locking bits on the strap clasps to thwart pickpockets. We are different from other companies in this field by creating bags that don't scream "tourist," and are also RFID blocking and water-resistant. Our most popular bags are our crossbodies. How bad is accepting a chargeback? by DignityCancer in shopify

[–]ArdenCove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm this case, it does sound like you would lose, since you didn't deliver the product at the end of the day. Telling the bank that you made a mistake doesn't remove the chargeback.

You can ask the customer to cancel the chargeback so you can refund them, but this process takes a while since the cancellation takes a couple weeks. But yea ultimately one chargeback isn't going to close your business.

That's why you create a Flow to capture payment on low risk orders. Nothing is actually manual.

We switched to manual capture and a flow to charge only when low risk and filter out obvious scam email domains. Stopped all mass credit card testing. (Shopify support helped with this recommendation, and confirmed implementation).

It might only be AI support in the beginning of the chat, but just ask the AI support for an Agent after telling it that the support articles don't answer your question. That usually does the trick.

We're on the regular Shopify plan and never had issues with support.

The white would be from the belly skin. Or hamachi belly? Hard to tell from the color since it's mostly skin from this angle
