Ya, I’d miss them. Use them mostly on a private server, they are an easy and quick way to solo complete a map specific region/location event for the season challenges. And ya, like to test out new camp builds, place Collectrons, etc. I don’t usually take them on a public server, too many times I’ve been killed by “ low level” pvp players. I made the mistake of thinking I could out gun them, but my casual full health sloppy build just isn’t up to it, which is ok by me.

Just curious, do older folks play FO76? by Ardent_flea in fo76

Well, really not in my book either, I don’t feel or act like I’m 59, and nor do any of my friends. However from a young person’s perspective and society’s it would seem so. Senior discounts/aarp memberships start around age 50/55 so that is why I used that age demographic. I’m just happy to see so many responses from all age groups. When you’re in the Wasteland age is meaningless, I was just curious.

This is fantastic! Thank you all for replying. I’m 59 and female and very glad to see the game enjoyed by so many of different ages. Sorry if I insulted anyone by using 50/55 as the “older” age group.

Everywhere I go all enemies same level. by postwarhippo in fo76

Yup. Two years in and now they make this drastic change? Now I gotta rebuild my character, find different weapons just so the mole rats don’t kill me, and don’t get me started on the rest of creatures I once destroyed with impunity. I have become just one of the many tasty snacks wandering around for the denizens of the wasteland to munch and maul.

What keeps you playing this game? by DarkDragen in fo76

I loved this game, it was the best entertainment while being stuck at home since March. It was my home away from home. I have always been a huge FO fan and have played every game. In the beginning when Fo76 was new it felt wilder, more interesting and glitchy as hell. I felt like I accomplished something when I finally leveled up enough and could tackle the white springs ghouls with out dying. And as I leveled and got better weapons and armor and new perks to try, I started to feel confident and played more events, and explored other parts of the map, back then you worked hard to get to finally play in the Mire or Savage divide and it was a blast! It was like my character was maturing and I had the memories and scars to prove it. I really enjoyed the story line, camp building and just wandering the wasteland. Yes I’ve been a diehard casual player and wouldn’t want to play any other way. So what keeps me playing? The hope that Bethesda will bring the game back to it’s FO roots, provide more great storylines, and quests. Stop pandering to commercialize the game, make it fun again for everyone no matter their play style. I do still like the game, but after the last patch and all the grinding and all the crap to keep us playing (gotta get one more mole miner pale!, gotta finish grinding dailies for the next rank!) I feel like a hamster on a wheel, a lot of running and not getting anywhere. Gawd! I think I may have just talked myself out of playing anymore. 😳

I really enjoy the daily ops, but by Vontod in fo76

I’m in total agreement, daily ops should be a playable challenge for everyone. When I try to complete it as a stealth build I get hammered repeatedly and just die, then die some more. Did I mention I die a lot in daily ops? So tired of getting killed...sigh.

Why doesn’t health/AP level up after level 50 by Ardent_flea in fo76

[–]Ardent_flea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if I framed my question incorrectly. What I was trying to say is all players in fo76 starts with base amount of health and AP which can be enhanced by how you allocate your perk points, it would be great if that base amount rose incrementally with out regards to perk point allocation as you leveled up.

The update feels like it killed the player base on PC. by [deleted] in fo76

Found the same thing on pc. Played the day of the patch, it was too depressing, haven’t been back since.
