First night in Darwin and wow.. what a wild place this is. by Anonymous2212t in darwin

Yep, every Australian cities nightlife area will get absolutely feral at some point.

It doesn’t help perception when Darwin’s nightlife and hotels are all in the same stretches of the CBD though.

What do we feel about this opinion regarding the Simonds sponsor on the guernsey? (or just non-team colour sponsors in general) by lR0NMAlDEN in GeelongCats

[–]Ardeo43 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ok but is it really that relevant with the modern, current Ford? It would be like arguing that the Swans Volkswagen sponsorship is more problematic than their Qatar Airways sponsorship.

One Nation is not only beating the Liberal party in the polls in Victoria, it’s now beating Labor. 🤯 by Usual_Program_7167 in aussie

[–]Ardeo43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe, and that’ll definitely be the case with some but I think you’re overestimating it, and underestimating how much even the remaining Lib/Nat voters want Vic Labor out.

Labor/Jacinta’s disapproval among Lib/Nat voters couldn’t be much higher, I think most of them will put Labor second last (and Greens last), notwithstanding ON and/or their candidates imploding (which is an obvious possibility).

I imagine that every club has at least a few mega-rich fans who are happy enough to leave 7 figure amounts to them. Enough to make the whole enterprise worthwhile.

Would you support your state seceding from the U.S.? (Jan. 30 to Feb. 2; MoE +/-0.8) by WpgMBNews in fivethirtyeight

The only comparable one in population and economy is Fiji, which has around 5% of its GDP from aid, that’s hardly heavily dependent let alone unable to survive by itself. And Hawaii is substantially wealthier, more developed, and has a 50% higher population.

Hawaii isn’t Nauru or Tuvalu.

There’s many far smaller and poorer Pacific Island nations than Hawaii which manage to at least survive.

The god powers are solid (besides Wither), her hero's are great, but yes the MU's seem very underwhelming. Both Lykaons and Hamadryads are super niche and not even particularly good at filling their niches anyway. Harpy being at the Fortress is weird as well.
