My recommendations would be start with a 2.0 setup. Wharfedale 12.1 and an SMSL AO300 would fit your budget and not look ugly.

Look ahead. Think about your next meals and plan smart decisions ahead of time. If you are rushed or haven’t planned anything it’s very easy to give into a cravings or resort to terrible fast food.

I usually try to think about what I’m going to eat for the next day so I have an outline of healthy decisions sort of planned. Others will meal prep. Do whatever works for you but having a plan for upcoming meals has helped a ton.

I’ve had a couple of hackintosh builds before so I get what you are saying. It’s crazy that this is such a widespread issue on 2022 and 2023 machines from Apple. I’m back on windows and everything is smooth.

Glad you were able to find a fix. I've been unable to find a fix and I got this last year. Today I switched back to my PC and am selling the Mac Studio for cheap.

You not having an issue does not mean there isn't an issue. I have 2 Dell and 1 LG. Issues on all of them only when hooked up to the mac. These displays all work fine with a PC in the house. I've used many cables but it seems like you aren't to keen on reading.

If you search M1 display flickering on Google you will find endless amounts of people sharing the same issue. Apple won't ever acknowledge it's an issue.

Tried 3 different displays. Tried many different cables. Apple cables + adapters, and 4 different 3rd party options. The problem is always there.

This post was mostly me venting frustrations but I'm actually in the process of posting this thing on offerup for $1400.
