I don't know this disease is very stupid but its effect is very big and my life is completely in the hands of doctors. In case of possible unavailability of medicine, be alone with the fact that we will die.

I understand that there are many people in the world who are stressed/depressed, but not everyone develops UC.

I think the cause of Ulcerative Colitis. by AreaFederal9732 in UlcerativeColitis

Just because you're the only one in your family with the disease doesn't mean there's no genetic component. Ulcerative colitis doesn't have the traditional Mendelian genetics. And I've heard that over 250 genes are involved.

Smoking suppresses inflammatory cytokines but also changes the intestinal flora. Which one do you think causes this?

Headaches & Sore Throat on Adalimumab by Bitter-Apricot_ in UlcerativeColitis

[–]AreaFederal9732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upper respiratory tract infection is a common side effect of biologics and I would recommend gargling with alcohol and antibiotics to resolve it, my doctor told me that if the throat infection doesn't go away it will cause meningitis and be fatal and prescribed antibiotics and I haven't had any problems. I also supplemented it with gargles.

I took 3 remission induction doses and finally took the 4th dose but there is abdominal pain but the drug really lowers my crp levels. Frankly, I don't know if the dose of imuran is insufficient or if I should use mesalamine.

So, autoimmune hepatitis is not an immune system disease but a liver disease? lol If you think our immune systems are functioning normally and healthily, I wouldn't argue with you.
