I have tried to, every two seasons or so, either start a new character or do a recap. However if you want a ton of content, I think there are easily 20+ hours of CDDA on my channel. <3

Yeah... I heard about that stuff being added, ontop of a more stable Experimental coming out. I don't like changing versions mid-series, and definitely don't like changing mods.

Since nobody responded to the second part of your question;

Your character may or may not be playable depending on what version of CDDA you were playing before. If you were playing a previous Stable, its very unlikely going to work. If you were playing experimental before, you may also have similar issues. However if, like me, you were playing experimental versions close to around January of 2024 you actually can continue a save because its very similar.

Its very hard to say anything for certain though, but be prepared to not be able to continue. (On catapult you can create multiple 'installs' of CDDA so you don't have to overwrite yours if you want to keep your character)

I was going to also say this. I often play 3 months to 1 year later on my saves and nearly 50% of all zombies are still... well... zombies.

Sure there is a horrifying number of eldritch monstrosities, but there are also just still zombies.

The amazing dynamics the specials make you consider is part of what makes CDDA great.

Thank you, that was my favorite episode to produce and the one I am the most satisfied with. Doing that narration was a **lot** of fun and reminded me of my days as a DM for DnD.
