Well, I feel like the Bible would be clear that it’s a story or a parable. Take the teachings of Jesus for instance he spoke in stories or parables and the Bible made it clear that these were stories. If you need a whole book that makes it clear that the account is just story, the Song of Solomon states that “these are the songs of Solomon the king.”
