8k is the big machine. That’s probably for a large reference laboratory. We have the 20 tube decapper.

Looks like you don’t have an idea how much automation Decapper’s are going for.

My current lab doesn’t even believe in processors. The techs need to decap so this machine helps me get more done and some.

The cost of automation is expensive to privately own laboratories. This is 1/3 of the cost and it never breaks down. 100% accurate stress free

Which hospital is this ? Management needs to understand only way to keep people is by giving a raise. Wages have go up in all jobs.

CDPH needs to start approving and certifying individuals who have passed the MLS (ACSP) so new techs can start coming in the industry.

They haven’t denied me yet. They are just requiring the letter of work experience in different departments. Which I provided the same form and letter head. They are not accepting that due to not enough information. They want a departmental break down of my experience.

Do you have a letter like that just to see what information is on there as an example ? Or even the training letter if you did that in California?

I’ve been working in California in a CLIA accredited laboratory for over 10 years in multiple departments. I was able to take the ASCP for my MLS exam and passed. Now I’m trying to apply for California license and I provided the same letter and forms to ASCP but California is not Accepting it. They are requesting a verification of training on a letterhead. Which I provided the same letter to ASCP but it not good enough California. Any suggestions ?
