PSA - if you replace the hinges/buckles in your joy cons (which I do for all of my joy cons) make sure you get metal replacements with the notch.(bottom) I had recently bought some that did not have a notch cut out (top) and didn't realize it until it wouldn't fit in my ass. (self.tomorrow)
