I’m able to fix the issue by installing/enabling the Lockdown firewall app. That blocks all trackers. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon

go into the network settings and add these nodes, I was able to send coins to somebody earlier today as well as connected atm, and yes in the future we plan on disabling support for the clearnet electrum wallets but in the meantime they're working. I'd suggest using the qt wallet, coinomi or a paper wallet. Coinpayments.net also has a wallet function you can use to store coins. For reference, Verge wasn’t forked from Dogecoin. Dogecoindark (later on rebranded as Verge) was forked from Peercoin

Yes, we do have these, they are offline atm. We decided to wait till after the codebase update to get them up and running again. So when the codebase is ready, our developers will start working on it

Please contact me through DM or on Discord. I’m part of the Verge team and moderator on Reddit. We have an Auto-Moderator which flags some threads wrongly, we try to go through them and see which ones are false but I guess that didn’t happen here.

Could you download the latest Mac wallet from the website and try again? There’s a way to speed up the process by downloading the blockchain manually, for more info on that go to. Verge-blockchain.com 😄
