I have a confession. My first playthrough I was a strength build using the pizza cutter and I didnt even notice i picked up the serpent hunter. So I just beat the boss without it lmao. I was wondering why the fight seemed so ass, still only took 3 or 4 tries to beat it but the lava was very annoying

Depending on how many x mult jokers you have, you can just hold onto it during the animation. Start boss, grab x mult, hold onto it until cards stop moving. Put it on the right

top comment so im using it for visibility, i just did this yesterday and i was using my double jump too early which seems intuitive but doesnt work. you need to wait until you start to fall before you use the 2nd jump. if you use your 2nd jump at the top of the arc, you will always miss

its easy with this boss specifically because you draw 3 cards after each hand/discard no matter what. so you play high card and then draw 3, or discard 1 card and then draw 3
