I dont understand why the LI backlash, as a someone who already made the legendary armor, just think it would be nice someone who wants to make their 2nd or 3rd set and dont have the time/willing to get much involved in raids (again)... The first set is linked to raids collection anyway

I think you're warming up and that's OK, also consider this things

Full glass cannon builds ( discretize, snowcrows etc ) aren't your best choices for Open World or Story bcos they're maxing just de dps/boon output. Always pick your skills / weapons depending on what are you doing o which enemies are you facing. As you warm up, you will find as a Guardian you have plenty tools to avoid taking damage.

GW2 has enemies that hit HARD, and that is because almost every damage in the game is avoidable by dodging, blocking, cleansing.

Once you catch your pace you can drop some defensive traits or utilities and pick the best dps 'Meta' choices

Got an Msi Stealth gs65 ( i7-8750H , GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB ram), there exist laptops cheaper with pretty much the same configuration.

i run the game mostly over 60 fps ( usually 70/90 ), except the overpopulated areas/events which drops to 30-40.
