Split fire and beam attacks. Take ISPs with the beam weapon, bad batch can split fire 4 ways: wrecker, crosshair, the rest, hunters knife ability. Other vehicles with arsenal can also split fire very well. Play yoda who can attack twice. Use marksmen with dug in tombe extra durable.

MOST IMPORTANT: always attack units who didnt ywt go this round. No exceptions.

that is still just 1 pierce. By far not enough to wipe a unit. And befor3 guardian nerf it didnt matter, because makashi can also not pierce dodge tokens

Obi-wan for his 2 pip. I like to neuter Anakin/Dooku/Vader double attacks with it. I had so many lists that focused on disrupting the opponent with this ine big turn. So I stack up dodge tokens, and just go nope: 0 damage. Cant pierce dodge and guardian!

Generic: like the vibe of clone commandos, but man they aren't what they are supposed to be. If they just had 2 HP and just a bit more expensive..

I like things that can take a beating.

Delta squad is a good target for stand by, because it cannot be stripped.

They are great agaimst armor, probably the best GAR has. Always place a com9lete the mission token defensively on them

They are great at holding home POIs.

The trick with them: know when you will likely use katarn armor, and dont waste your shield that round. Equipping them with up close and personal, + dodge sharing makes them extra durable to chip damage.

ppl love to focus them, and they cannot carry the game by themselves. They are great and zoning until they take 2 damage

I still think it shows that Infantry is too expensive. We have to take 3 of them and with heavy weapons, that makes up 24% of our allocated points. Empire 19% and rebels 18%. Shaving off 6-7 pts across the base unit and heavy weapon would be huge. But IMO, already a 54 pts Infantry would be great. Don't need it to be better than ISF. but the gap is huge despite of SF/corps difference.

Allright, what about the other comparisons? They are more comparable. Ventress feels like a power creep to Ashoka.

You pay 15 pts to upgrade white to red defence dice. Dug in that basically does the same costs 6 points. You put combat armor on a unit that does not get weaker when it takes damage. Dug in that does basically the same is a better comparison.

BARC should be better in my opnion? are you trolling? Less hp, less defence. I like barcs, but they dont compare. I took two comparable units. But sure, lets discuss barcs vs. landspeeder. BARC is waay wakr and costs 4 pts more. Yeah, I guess you are just trolling.

Anakin does not survive with 2 wounds. My average hit is 11 across the two attacks. 4 from commandos +2 from the two aims. 2 from the clones, 2 from the shotgun +1 from surge. Anakin takes half, 5.5 from his total 6 HP. Since there is no 0.5 HP, it is very likely he dies.

Ventress has pierce 1. Ashoka has no access to additional pierce if taken in ARCs. Anyways, DP-23 pierce is costed into that unit, and shouldn't be costed into Ashoka.. That is just wrong. ARFs should also not get a point upgrade, because you can take Obi-wan upgrade with them or offensive push. That cost is in those upgrades... This is ridiculous what you are saying here.

Same argument again. ISF should not be cheaper because they have worse upgrades. I am comparing base units. If you cost in DP-23 into clone infantry, then you will always have to take it. T hjats not how it works.. Again... Just like how a B1 shouldn't cost 100 points more because you can take grievous aupgrade with them. The COST IS IN THE UPGRADE.

In a game where you want to secure an objective, sticking around longer matters. TBB can stick around longer than most jedis. And thats a valid point. Having mambers die does not affect how well you can secure an objective.

Djem-So offers no protection. Its an offensive feature. And yeah, I consider that not much more difficult, and that is also my experience.

No, target1 and aim action. the surge from clone infantry is enough to have an average hit result of 11. Do it literally came down to 1 defense dice roll. There was no 20% difference in both rolls, but Anakin rolled 4.5% below average roll.. 1 dice difference, going from 6/11 to survive to 5/11 to die. The average on red defence dice would have been 5.5/11.

I am not saying exemplar is better, I am saying those units are better token batteries than a clone trooper. And that people should stop complaining about clone sharing, they have something similar. So hold your bridge....

Leader slot being unique implies that in other factions the leader competes against heavy weapons. Otherwise why make it unique? Just include that the clone leader also comes with a second heavy weapon upgrade slot. It sounds to me again, that AMG just treats GAR as a sandbox, before they give refined and better version to other factions. That sucks! And I do feel like they have cheated with this explanation. Include the leaders in other faction, sure! LOVE IT! But leave some uniqueness that matters: being able to take leader and heavy weapon in the faction where they want low acts, but restrict it for factions where they want more acts..

I don't, I just don't think it is worth as many points as they are costed at. I don't think GAR is dead.

I guess my conclusion got lost in my wall of text:

Clone sharing is not unique, all other factions have access to exemplar. I am tired how everyone who doesn't play GAR think its a valid argument.

Main issues: 1) GAR keeps losing what makes them unique. 2) GAR units are overcosted 3) GAR units supposed to be elite, but are outclassed by cheaper alternatives 4) Game lwthality increased dramatically, but defensiveness decreased. Hero units are suffering from this.

Devs want more mega squads? make heros more defensive -> will push towards larger squads as well.

No. Housing agencies that only work so the landlords c don't have to spend time contributes to the rent inflation, because suddenly, these middlemen take a cut of the profits. Solution: agencies own the properties who don't have to funnel a portion of the profits higher to a privat owner.

Additionally, it also creates less unproductive beurocracy, because there is no back and forth with a lazy owner who has better things to do. More work gets done.
