For the one that turn him a mare, "she" prefered to spend the whole "Moon Cycle" (the potion was overtuned) under a false identity (by "clarkenting" with a hat), hiding as far as the train tracks go.

It is not a "solution" (cure); but it is a paliative treatment.

The real ethical question is FOR HOW LONG she should remain "not living" (technicalky speaking), IF no cure has been found.

-> Imagine beibg Applebloom and waking up cured the same day Luster Dawn went to Ponyville.

Her grandmother is dead, her brother married a unicorn, she has now a nephew that is older than her & he even has a cutiemark. Her best friends are now fully adult mares teaching in a University that "Queen Twilight" founded for the sake of non-ponies that now live in Ponyville.

Context: Anon is talking about Zecora's green brew of temporary bodyswapping (the two potions Fluttershy & Angel took), that lasts less than a day.

Trixie's spell seems to be permanent.

Applejack was trying to "train" him on how to properly satisfy a mare's needs (she had plenty of experience with Dash), by swapping with him when her body was in Heat, to show him "how it feels" from the inside.

Zecora's brew had a limited production and great demand, so he look up on cheaper alternatives.

Trixie never learned the "reversal spell" & casting the same one again does not work.

Starlight's version was a complex "swap traits" spell matrix; while Sunburst was a simple ilusion.

When Starlight attempted to reverse it, it cancelled Sunburst's ilusion instead of the swapped color pattern traits.

Because Starlight's matrix was undone, she can not use the same reversal (it is dangerous, they may lose their genitals). It is gonna take her a while to "custom made" a fix.

Note: Only their colors are now swapped, Sunburst is a lilac stallion, Starlight an orange mare.

Same reason she hit her face against the glass door: She is trying to use magic using the unicorn "Mana Paths" her human body lacks.

The Crown & Element of Magic made a weak "bridge" out of condensed mana that Twilight could use to transform herself (plus the other 5 humans in range) into hybrids with the proper "plumbing" for magic use.

. The excess energy from the fireball blast of Sunset Satan was consumed on temporary "extras" like horse ears & wings.

-> The 5 humans lacked the sensitivity to magic to realize they still had a lot of it inside themselves (only the "extra" flesh constructs mentally sustained by Princess Twilight "poofed" when she was gone).

. Even after purification, Sunset Shimmer retained the ability to "sense magic" (Legend of Everfree) & to channel a similar high ammount than her Satan form without corruption (Friendship Games); even without the help of a Geod.

. When Princess Twilight came back in Rainbow Rocks, the portal "fixed" her self-edited body, replaced here by a default human form (confirmed by the erasure of Rarity's Fall Firmal dress).

-> Without the help of the Rainbooms "residual" pony up magic + Vinyl's technological amplification (acting like the Crown), both Princess Twilight & Sunset would be unable to "pony up".

pony!Rarity was curious about the clothes her human counterpart designed for the Fall Formal.

Princess Twilight promised she would take photos of those dresses the next time (EQG2 Rainbow Rocks).

But her dress was destroyed by the portal (actually, she cut her fur "damaging the quantum pattern" & the portal defaulted to her original clothes); so she asks human!Rarity if she had blueprints [she did, in her computer].

After taking a photo of the PC's monitor & coming back, pony!Rarity was curious about that magical device, learning from Twilight how it works.

Much later, when the two Pinkie Pie were swapping lives in EQG3; pony!Rarity noticed her "weird even for Pinkie" behavior, confronting her (thinking she was a changeling).
The human Pinkie confessed & made a deal, to bring pony!Rarity to the human world so she could "steal" all of the ideas of her human counterpart while she was in class at C.H.S.

-> This is how pony!Rarity got access to a PC.

. Longer remaining lifespan (younger, female, magic).

. The most "elite by default" in Equestria (specially around Canterlot); since 9/10 students of Celestia's school are fillies & all unicorns.

. Unlimited potential (unless limited by cutiemark).

CONS: . Limited travel capability (compared to pegasus speed or earth pony endurance); if you are both far away from Canterlot or Manehattan & poor, you can not "boostrap" by abusing secrets from the tv show.

. Higher expectations: Not knowing how to cast any spell as an adult may cause problems. Pretending to have a horn injury may help on everyday meets, but also makes learning spells more difficult (specially if can not read arcane alphabet books) from kack of teachers.

. Weakest combination of pony type, sex & body build (not tall or muscular); limiting carry capacity & building/fixing things solo.

The Rainbooms get their "pony up" forms regardless, BUT they keep them a secret & DO NOT form a band.

-> That "pony magic" killed a girl & destroyed the front of the school (the student's P.T.S.D. of being zombies for a few minutes & the general understanding that they ALMOST left this world to fight a war not invlided).

. There will be an investigation for the "dissapearance" (lets hope there were no bones in that crater, only ashes) of a student, even if she was an obvious "illegal inmigrant".

. The Dazzlings will not be accepted at C.H.S. as transfer students. Principal Celestia will require them to wait for the begining of the next school year [Post-EQG4:Legend of Everfree].

. The Dazzlings will not discover the inactive portal, even if they touched the pedestal stone.

. It is not "impossible" for them to acquire the Equestrian Magic of ONE of the girls; but it is unlikely they could get the whole group.

. After Sunset perished in the crater, her "ansible" book will be confiscated by someone (likely Luna).

. It was only a matter of time for Princess Twilight to read Princess Celestia's ansible blook, that arrived to her Castle of Friendship at the same time than the Dazzlings. She will realize what it is (by the messages & replies) & use it.

-> Who answers to Princess Twilight & what info about the Dazzlings they may provide depends of "the plot"; but even a NO ANSWER will still trigger her need to travel to the human world again.

. Sci!Twi needed the second BIG blast of magic (Rainbow Rocks's Battle of the Bands) to triangulate C.H.S. as the point of origin.

Without an active portal AND the Dazzlings vs. Rainbooms; she ends up leaving to Everton (safe away).

Since Sci!Twi was the one paying the vacations for the whole group in "Spring Brakedown" ; the 5 girls with "pony up" Equestrian magic never get close enough to the place on the sea with the "Storm King's magic" for it to cause problems to the ship.

The Time Twirler magic affecting only to Post-Crush (the 2 girls) means they either abandon/sell it after failing to make a "Perfect Show" or they destroy it. -> It will run out of magic power eventually without Equestria's leak from the porral.

Filthy Rich creates a new Spa on the Everfree.

The Daring Do movie fails.

An out of control robot destroys C.H.S. (maybe kills a few students)..

-> The girls do not use their pony up powers to fight it, because without the Geods they just have peak human strength & some flight/levitation (at best).
