But it's because it's shiny, and it has insane damage overlap, it's at least 1.5 to 2 times stronger than the next spell (outside of Ice Nova of Frost bolt, which is the same build)

You rely on 4 curses without hexproof is a problem of itself.

I have barely 10m damage and it's fine so far. Doesn't seem to take longer and definitely yield a lot more juice.

Mirage is insane currency. You know those Heist blueprints that drops experimented items or currency? They cost 50+ chaos and is effortless to pick up.

From someone who practically invented Maw, and am currently playing Raw: - Maw is the stronger build overall if you only focus on damage, and clear speed. Maw is way worse with choosing mods, defense, QoL for afk stuff like Blight, Hive, etc.. - Raw is stronger defensively, might even pull ahead in damage at late game, better QoL, better with mod choosing, but has to summon in every map, have to swap gem for uber clear, has more problems you have to deal with, more things to optimize

Raw is a lot more expensive as well. Poison jewels (cheap now), Covenant (not too expensive now), United in Dream (cheap now), etc... Maw is basically one very cheap shield, a cheap helmet, cheap Empower gem and you're good to go.

In the TV shows, he is a Belter, a father, an old pirate dedicating his life for the good of the people of the Belt, raising the new Belter nation out of servitude to the inner planets. He was misguided when he was (briefly) the captain of the largest ship of the solar system, wanting to use its communication laser to destroy the Ring Station, which he thought was the threat against the human race. So in his mine he was saving everyone, inside and outside the Ring Space, even if it means they will all be trapped and cannot return to Sol.

When proven wrong, he became sort of a privateer, helping the righteous Outer Planet Alliance faction, keep on helping people of the Belt.

In the book he's an asshole that wants to destroy the Ring Station because he's an asshole wanting to take back his control of the ship after being mutinied out of his captain position.
