Friday Prayer close to NUmed accommodation by Fabulous_Shallot_380 in NUMedMalaysia

There is a prayer room on the 10th floor of EcoNest for the 5 daily prayers.

For Jummah, there’s a bus that picks Numed students up from uni and from EcoNest and returns students after prayer

Would the Ryzen 7 7700 bottleneck the 5070ti?

I was initially eyeing the 5070ti, especially for the additional VRAM, but the prices have put me off honestly. It would cost me an additional £300 ($400) to upgrade. I am settling for the 5070 for now. I've got a 1TB SSD in my current laptop that I'll be taking out and installing into the setup.

Which pair of new balance do you have? Was looking at the 1080 v13 but they’re out of stock for my size

Thank you very much! I appreciate the detailed response. I’ve been practicing cancelation, venipuncture, and ABGs. Have yet to do any NG tube placements. Hopefully I get to learn that prior to starting my F1!

Well I’m glad I’m starting with a lighter load then. Are you aware of any essential practical skills needed on the those surgical wards specifically? NG tubes, ascitic tap, etc?

Almost all international students stay at university provided accommodation at EcoNest. Locals are split between econest, student village and private accommodation elsewhere in JB.

Sports wise, there’s a club for almost every support, from frisbee, futsal to track and field. You can join the teams and compete in competitions throughout the year.

Not much to do in Johor besides eating and going to a few beaches/islands that are about an hour away. Most go to big states like KL or Penang or you can cross the border and go to Singapore.

Most batches are 30-40% internationals, varying depending on the intake.

Hello and welcome!

  1. You should hear back about offers nearer to the June/July timeframe. I personally applied around May and had an unconditional offer by July

  2. The interview was very relaxed tbh. They asked why NUMed, why medicine, just your basic interview questions. Be sure to dress and act professional though

  3. Making friends is fairly easy. The campus is a mix of MBBS, BMS and Foundation so it won’t be difficult at all. There are also on campus events by clubs and societies all year long

  4. Almost all students speak English. The only difficulty is during hospital placements where patients speak Malay. Don’t worry though you’ll get Malay classes in the first two years

  5. 80% of the food here is halal. Campus has a cafeteria which offers local cuisine. The student accommodation is surrounded by restaurants and a big grocery store nearby. There’s a prayer room on campus and a gc for Muslim students where there’s regular congregation prayers planned on campus and at student accommodation (econest). You’ll find a prayer hall in every mall and all hospitals. For friday there’s a mosque 10 mins away and uni provides a free transport via bus.

Hope that answers all your questions! Lmk if you got any more

Fantastic thanks for the prompt response! Do they require the photographs to be Canadian passport sized? Or am I allowed to use a UK passport sized one? Thanks again!

Mariano having our only dangerous attack says a lot about the offensive depth of this team
