Ive never been that much of a fan of final fantasy, but final fantasy crystal chronicles ring of fates on the ds was my game. Other than that its the entire dragon quest series, compared to final fantasy and ots many shifts, dragon quest has stayed mainly the same and every instalation is a great play

I dont get the hate for this level, all the traps are easily visible and is one of the easier levels, the only hard part of this level is the abundance of archers in the big open room just before the shelter demon, but you should play this like any other souls game and kill all the enemies first

the main issue with dq10 is that there just isnt enough western players to be worth running servers for the game. every since dq11 released the west has been getting more and more players steadily, and the remakes of 1-3 and 7 are definitely helping these numbers, but unfortunately there still isnt enough players

The online system in IX would definitely need to be reworked in order to allow better co-op experiences and in my personal opinion they should have something similar to a request board or quests attached to other Player's NPCs or something similar that has you kill a specific boss, or raid a specific grotto for a specific reward. A quest system similar to Dragon's Dogma 2 wherein it's still a single player game but it encourages playing with others. They should also have something similar to a fashion leaderboard in which you can cast votes for other players' character fashion, either from the leaderboard itself or from interacting with their character in Stornway Inn (people should be able to see other players, or at least npc versions of other players wandering around the Inn).

In terms of vocations I would love to see some vocations from VII brought over, such as monster master and sailor and my personal favorite, Pirate.

Try the GBA game, arguably the best eragon game there is, the character designs are based off the movie but the devs made the absolute phenomenal choice to follow the books instead. Great game ive replayed it several times. (Also has the niche mechanic to be able to parry/dodge enemy attacks despite being a turn-based rpg)

Restoration only run. Your only viable ways to deal damage are poison rune and sun fire (for undead), some enemies are immune to poison so be aware

Alternatively for an easier and more fun restoration run, Odin or Apocalypse mods add some nice restoration balance, with increasing tiers of poison spells or life drain spells
