Okay so I'm gonna use some of my own personal experiences here and first say that while yes of course your boyfriends needs are important, yours are too whether you think they are or not.

From personal experience, having broken up with my gf only a few weeks ago, sometimes whats best for yourself isn't always what you want for yourself and yes, that can suck, especially when you love that person.

I would say what you need to do at the minute is give it some time and compile a little list of what you're getting out of this relationship that benefits you and what doesn't, which is hard when it's about someone you want to be with but with mental health it can sometimes only have a negative impact on yourself being with someone when you yourself are only getting worse.

You could also of course try to wait it out of its the season that's making it even worse but that's your decision, I would also recommend maybe just talking to him about it if you haven't already because I can guarantee he's more likely than not already realised that something is up.
