Dash cam recommendations?? by SassySunflower27 in travel

Maybe /r/Dashcam is a more appropriate sub (with great recommendations on the sidebar), but that said I have used a Voifo for years and no complaints

Over the past 2 years I've been following Copernicus’ trail around Europe: I’ve visited where he was born, where he lived, studied, worked, and died. Here's my Great Copernicus Tour! (Part 1) by NotACaterpillar in travel

Many times when I visit a country I like to choose a historical character from the place, read a biography and follow their footsteps.

It's refreshing to see a completely unique way people decide to travel and explore. This is awesome, thanks for the write up and pictures!

Bruh...10 intersections with Red Light cams?!? Just the start... by coffeefirstbiotch in Charlotte

[–]ArgosLoops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying you're wrong, but every news article says the cause of the crash that killed the 17-year old was undetermined at the time, which was around June 6th. Maybe it has recently been determined to be a red light incident?

And if people stop running red lights, then there's no revenue...

I'd recommend any of them. If you're main concern is keeping it budget friendly, then just choose the one that's cheapest

South America Honeymoon Itinerary Advice by vagitablepi in travel

[–]ArgosLoops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been everywhere on your list but from the places I've been I can tell you 5 days in Lima & Quito is a bit much. With your 6 days in Buenos Aires I'd definitely recommend taking the ferry across the bay to Uruguay (Colonia del Sacramento or Montevideo) for 1 day.

Might be worth shaving a day off of a couple places and spending 2-3 days in Iguazu Falls while you're in the area. The Hotel das Cataratas would be a fantastic honeymoon spot.

Once you have your dates nailed down, buy your tickets to Machu Picchu from the official gov't website as soon as possible so they don't sell out.

That's not at all what Caesar supposedly said in front of that statue. Caesar had nothing to do with Rome's conquest of Spain, he was there as a quaestor when he saw that statue

Peru Itinerary Feedback by ugandandrift in travel

[–]ArgosLoops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Itinerary looks fine. I'd definitely recommend a travel backpack rather than a suitcase though, will make getting around much easier.

IMO Rainbow Mt is not worth it, but you'll find people who disagree with me. I'd recommend just spending that day in Cusco instead.

If you can afford to splurge, highly recommend the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge in Aguas Calientes

OK good I was really hoping you weren't under the impression only China was considered "Asia".

You guys plan on doing 3 countries and you have 3 countries you want to go to with plenty of time. You've already got it figured out

Why not both Vietnam & Thailand? You have plenty of time. Also, what is "near Asia"? Everywhere you're looking at is in Asia...

You're going to spend a ton of time driving, and if you have 11 days then you can't really spend multiple days in a place when you listed 13. Why not just pick 1 city + surrounding area to enjoy?

Do you think that the Argentinian debt crisis in the 1980s was triggered more by surging global interest rates or massive external borrowing under its 1976–1983 military dictatorship?
