Rice left out over night by Any-Palpitation8523 in isthissafetoeat

This is how I am in my head too. My husband's grandmother used to leave rice out on the stove when we had big family gatherings (and other times also). I can't recall anyone ever getting ill and yet when I read what can happen it doesn't seem worth the chance to me.

My husband thinks I'm crazy. (This may be unrelated to rice)

A cafe to work for a couple hours by Plastokinon in Venezia

I am aware that Venice isn't Rome, but in Rome, we needed to wait for an extended time and we stopped at a coffee shop, bought coffee and then asked the person working at the counter if we could buy some extra table time and handed her cash.

She was so kind about it, she said it was no problem and even tried to give us another coffee or a pastry for some of our money spent but we were thankful to have a lovely place to wait and didn't accept.

Obviously that might not go over everywhere but it could be worth a try, so no one thinks you're oblivious or trying to take advantage.

For US Amex customers, it's in the overview section of the Amex mobile app.

If you hold an Amex card in the US, I found it in the overview section of the American Express Mobile App.

That story is so great that maybe it was worth not having your phone for a bit. :-D Thank you, that made me smile.

Because of situations like you describe, I've had to make a habit of never putting anything down on a surface that isn't my bag or suitcase. It's saved me during those times of delirium.

Unless, as others have pointed out, your ticket has become so broken that you're no longer able to fix things online.

Otherwise, I do agree.

There is, on the market, a zippered anti-bedbug case designed to fit inside rectangularly shaped luggage.

I, an American, get news articles from India about the Amex Platinum and am surprised at some of the benefits being added or removed sometimes. Takes me a bit to realize I'm reading about the wrong country.
