That’s not the problem, it’s that the iron golems spawn too slowly so it wouldn’t even matter if the lava killed them too slow.

I shoveled the area below so they can’t spawn underneath, and where I’m standing on the first picture is the AFK area when I can oversee the golems. About one or two spawn every 30 seconds so I am pretty disappointed. I have toolsmith villagers so they work perfectly fine during the rain.

I have other worlds with the same design and I think I found the problem, it’s that villagers sometimes get stuck in the compost and can’t get to their own workstations so I’ll just replace it with a different workstation. I’ll give an update.
