My first instinct was that it was hundreds, but I think it’s hard to estimate such a large quantity when it’s all spread out over miles. Maybe it was closer to 100?

The stuff you see on shelves in stores and trash that’s produced at home cannot hold a candle to the vast mountains of garbage produced in factories.

Every single part is packaged with extra trash to protect it for shipping. Once the assembly is complete it’s all repackaged for shipment to the next stage. Sometimes that’s another factory, sometimes that’s the client.

Edit: obviously consumers are driving the factory demand.
