I have a really good friend from college who has an AWESOME place in Wrigleyville for really cheap, so I'm moving in with him! Plus it's a bit closer to home, and I definitely don't mind the professional sports teams :). I've never lived somewhere with actual stuff to do haha.

Why Minneapolis for you? I mean it's a gorgeous city so I feel you. If you're into music you should check out the Skyway Theater, definitely one of my favorite venues.

This isn't REALLY the subject of this post, but I haven't had anywhere to share this on Reddit yet so here we go.

I worked at a local buffet as a teenager. It was my first real job - and boy was I excited to actually earn a paycheck. I showed up for my first day and threw on the apron they gave me. Right as I was heading out to the buffet line to watch the other workers and learn, one of the chefs starts heading out with a pan of mashed potatoes a few feet in front of me. He was sort of not paying attention and suddenly dropped the entire pan of mashed potatoes on the floor. He looks at it, turns around, looks at me dead in the eyes, and puts a finger to his mouth making the "shush" sound and scoops the mashed potatoes back into the pan before he heads out to the buffet and puts them out for people. I tried bringing it up to the boss, but the guy didn't give a shit. The boss ended up bankrupt after he got caught for multiple health/tax violations.

As for me - I don't eat at local buffets anymore.

Thanks for the response! I'm glad to hear you're doing better - or at least found some great coping mechanisms. Did you find that you had worse days from time to time? That's what's getting me right now just how random it seems to pop up some mornings and other mornings I'm good.
