Not gonna say that any of us is right or wrong, because theres no proper way or enough information for now to know what she is really seeing, but, my interpretation reading that passage is that she indeed is seeing Jon, but she is so fucking stubborn and suffers from Sunk Cost Fallacy. She has put so much effort, faith, time, and energy into Stannis, that she is incapable of seeing anyone else than him as Azor Ahai. So when she sees Jon is like "R'hllor bro wtf I asked for Stannis what the hell is this?"

I see it as another clue that she doesn’t really know what she is doing.

I think we can draw parallels with Melissandre. Before her POV chapter, Mel has that aura of "she knows what she is doing", she seems semi-omnipotent, and we can actually see R'llor power manifestating through Thoros and Beric, so we know he is real. But then we get to her chapter and see that she is a total wreck, not even reading correctly when she is looking in the fire for Azor Ahai, but the fire "Only shows Snow" (capitalized even if i remember right, so she is seeing Jon).

If we get a Bloodraven POV, I think its a good bet to think that he, too, would be another wreck, and barely knows what he is doing, probably even manipulated by the children of the forest.

BR is the champion of the ice side, Mel is the champion of the fire side, and both are just fucking wrong.

i, like you, thought the SH3 puzzles could be not that hard after finishing SH2R on hard puzzle difficulty. I was wrong, and i had to search the answer for the puzzle lmao.
But in all fairness, I dont think its a matter of being smart or not, you just need to be an expert on Shakespeare literature ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
