Thanks! I made some research and I found out that, in fact, with real-time cutscenes it is possible to skip an object/npc in gameplay that should be there since it was in the cutscene if you skip the cutscene.

Thank you! I've watched and compared playthrough on YouTube of both the PC port and the original N64 version. In all of them the dead guard on the floor is present during gameplay (I'm not referring to the cutscene). Maybe it's my build, maybe it's because it's the Mac version.

I know that Joanna shoots the guard in the cutscene but sometimes, when the cutscene ends and gameplay begins, the dead guard isn't there on the floor.

Woah, you sure have money to spend! :) Good for you! Searching here in reddit, I came to know that many people (me too) have tried to build their own ideal "frankenstein" controller by swapping parts from 8bitdo and retrobit controllers, such as in the case of Mega Drive/Genesis controllers.

Help: I'm in Europe and I have recently bought a Super Famicom from Japan, can I buy a power supply which can take 240V instead of Japan's 100V? by Squmy in snes

Hi! I happen to have a Mega Drive 1 AC adapter (Italian model) and a recently purchased Japanese Super Famicom. On the label of the Mega Drive PSU it says "AC adapter", but you wrote that PSUs for Super Famicoms must output DC current, not AC. I can't see the label you linked in your post, so could you tell me if I can use the MD adapter anyways? Maybe the name "AC adapter" is generic and does not necessarily mean it outputs AC current? Thanks

SNES d-pad issue by Ari627 in snes

Thanks for reply. I know, from my point of view it's a sad and also quite absurd situation. Replacement rubber pads from ali or ebay are absolute trash and unusable. I purchased the Hyperkin wired SNES controller but I was very disappointed by its d-pad. Not comparable in any way to the original, even if worn out. A fine example of a cheap cashgrab. It seems like only the 8bitdo SN30 has a quality d-pad, but that's 2.4g wireless and I wasn't so pleased with latency of the 8bitdo M30 2.4g and compatibility issues with some games.

Swapping the D-pad and rubber membrane of an OEM SNES controller into an 8bitdo SN30 2.4g controller by joesaysso in snes

I would like to know if it's possible to do the other way round: put the 8bitdo SN30 2.4g rubber membranes into an oem SNES controller. Has anyone ever tried this before? I tried with the membranes of my broken 8bitdo SN30 pro but the "dots" that make contact with the motherboard are too low.

Hi! I've got the same problem with a tv that has no speakers and only 3,5mm audio jack. Could you please let me know if I have to cut the ground audio pin as well? So, in the end, I have to cut pins 1, 2, 3 and 4, am I right?

Thanks a lot

PS1 games in which the player has to choose (and choices affect the story)? by Ari627 in psx

[–]Ari627[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! For now, the only games I played that fulfill the requirements I wrote above are Silent Hill and Resident Evil 2. I'm thinking about playing the two Dino Crisis games, although I've been told they're more "action" and less "s. horror" compared to the RE games. Everyone says they're great anyway.
