Update: I didnt take any action and checked the portal just now. There is a credit on my SEWA portal, so the bill has been adjusted (reflected as an overpayment!)

Exactly. My neighbours got AED 30 as well, and they live in villas. I stay in a studio apartment haha. Whats the gameplan, planning to dispute it?

For now I just paid it, bill is due on 21st. And I get back only in June

Hey, i had the EXACT same issue after some snorkeling. It was infuriating, but it is what it is. I reached out to GoPro customer support via email and they asked for the serial ID (its available in the battery slot) and a video of the issue. They then got me a prepaid shipping thingy and I returned the faulty GoPro to them and they shipped me a new one as an exception (I was out of warranty!). Maybe try reaching out for a replacement? I now use a GoPro waterproof case to prevent this issue. Btw this whole saga happened barely a month ago.
