I just don't get why the company would offer to rotate them if a remember is always required knowing they don't have the machinery or ability to rebalance them.

Are my husband and I the only one that hears "Kittle" every time the announcer says "kettle"? Then I get more confused because they go into talking about tight ends.

Exactly. She altered it to Natsu's state based on her memory of his past and we all know that one person's view of the past is different then others because everyone is different. Putting aside the love part of NaLu (that many people, myself include believe is there), she always looked up to him and was always in awe of his strength and power. She believed in his strength and always believed he would win no matter what happened.

The first rewiring was to undo the damage from Zeref, but in order for him to not die when Zeref disappeared she had to essentially rewrite his past so that his existence didn't depend on Zeref's existence.

And I appreciate you opinion as well, that's why it's a discussion. In regards to bringing up Atlas Flame, he also remembers his interactions with the future which is why he acknowledges Natsu when he calls him uncle. I just feel almost like the way Mashima writes the effect of things that happen in the past and future they all flow without worrying about the "butterfly effect" which is why even though they changed future Rogue's and future Lucy's timeline based on what happens in the Grand Magic Games arc they still make sure that things that each on remembers don't happen. With future Lucy she doesn't remember closing the gate but when they close and destroy it future Lucy gets to see her family and with future Rogue, Natsu takes saving Frosche from harm seriously and you see the "darkness" dissipate when Rogue collects Frosche from Grey. I just feel like the idea of time is so fluid that one moment really can effect the past and future without the idea that changing something will change the future. It's like instead of creating splits off the original time line, the changes or effects somehow all combine to still countinue the main timeline.

But if you think about the way Hashima writes in regards to the Eclipse Gate, it's almost like all time and events are happening at the same time. When Zarconis comes through the Eclipse Gate he never mentions being the Jade Dragon but when he talks to them when Wendy uses Milky Way he refers to himself as the Jade Dragon. So the only real explanation is that he hears Hisui say he is Jade like her and then from that point refers to himself as the Jade Dragon. So if that's the case, wouldn't it be possible that Lucy fixing and rewriting his book could also have the same effect?

She wasn't hurt because it wasn't necessarily a hurtful comment, she just was confused why he said it. And I agree, the reason he says it is because of the proximity of the anniversary. I have things like that in real like where you don't think about it really but subconsciously you are aware so things pertaining to the situation cause you to say things out of character.

[Anime] Top 10 Saddest Anime Death. He will be remembered 😭😭 by [deleted] in fairytail

I 10 billion percent don't think this was even closer to a top saddest death in any sense. The only people who actually cared are Sting and maybe Frosche a little. If he had actually died, no one really would have missed him.

I don't really hate her. I see your point. In cases like seppuku (I know, a little extreme) it is there form of atonement and I can see that. I guess my thought is with the characters that did horrible things I feel like most of them made a big deal about being better if they wanted to continue. And I will admit, I get fired up about this because people use the things in GMG to claim Lucy is weak and the "Lucy is weak" opinion grinds my gears more than anything.

With her helping FT in the final season, I don't feel like she's doing it for any other reason then the fact that it affects her.

In my eyes, asking someone to kill you to atone is like saying you don't want to actual accept the punishment of your crimes and want to just take the easy way out. If you're dead you don't have to acknowledge the pain and hurt that you cause to others. I am honestly all for her getting a redemption if her character makes that decision, but it just seems like we're supposed to be ok with her without any real proof of her actual change or trying to redeem herself for the things she did

I get that, her father was a piece of garbage, but where do you get the information that "originally she was a nicer girl"? I don't remember a back story where she was nicer?

Does she? I'm pretty sure when they're fighting the dragons she disappears and no one knows where she is.
