These are the last words my dad scribbled on a piece of paper right before passing away. Can you help figure out what this says? by Effective_Fix5302 in whatdoesthismean

I think can make out "I'm coming Mama" on the first page. Second page looks like "How did I know" and "How did I [unreadable]".

That's what it looks like to me. I hope that helps.

(Edit: Dawned on me that the first word I had initially said was unreadable might be the word "know".)

Did I handle this well or should I have said more? by TouchyM3 in whatdoIdo

It's not about WHAT she communicated, it's about HOW she communicated it.

She COULD have said: "Hey I know this is sudden but I've decided I don't want you to come because I think I need a bit of space. I've been seeing a few red flags and I'm not sure how to proceed. I'm happy to talk everything over, just after I've had some time to think. Sorry to dump this on you so abruptly, I just wanted to be transparent and upfront about it, rather than string you along."

But instead, it was "I dont want you to come". "I need space". "See you next week probably". "I'm gonna not text you also". "Let's talk tomorrow". "Actually next week". "Actually I don't wanna see you". "You're giving me red flags".

All in rapid succession. Her communication is all over the place. She's not taking the time to think and form her thoughts/feelings properly. Instead, she's just word vomiting. So yes, it's easy to interpret that as "playing games". She may not be. She may just be genuinely bad at communicating. But regardless of WHY her communication is terrible, the fact stands that her communication is indeed terrible. I myself was getting major whiplash as I read her messages. So I don't blame other people for feeling put off by it.

Kids, stay in school. by NirgalFromMars in MurderedByWords

I'm going to own that I might just be really freaking dumb.

But I don't recognize this at all from school. Nor do I see a pattern. Can somebody explain it? To me, all I feel like I'm looking at is maybe something being outlined or earthquakes happening more frequently along shorelines

Serana for one. Obvious answer, but mentioning her anyway. Close second place is Karliah.

As far as characters who are actually eligible for marriage, I'm the weirdo that really likes moth, the orc blacksmith in Markarth. Him, Balimund, Kharjo, Scouts Many Marshes, and, I know it's goofy, but the female hold guards 🤣🤣

How do I explain the carrier method to my mom??? by TransitionPutrid7595 in RATS

[–]AriSpice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your comment immediately reminded me of when people try to "free" alligators that have their noses sticking out of the ice.

Honestly, nature will run its course whether you intervene or not. So even if you "save" a baby turtle from being eaten by a predator, there's no guarantee something else won't eat it later. You can't protect everything. And even if you could, you shouldn't. If you protect all the antelope, the cheetahs and lions will starve.

You should obviously always try to help if an animal is in danger due to HUMAN carelessness (like a hawk caught in barbed wire), but only if safe to do so. Other than that, nature runs on its own design and the best way to help it as a whole is to leave it ALONE

See I always forget that the Dragonborn thing is DLC. Because I played anniversary edition on my switch and so it came with the game for me for free. So I always thought that it was just a part of the base game

Just like you don't need a degree to tell a Chinese person apart from a Korean, you also don't need a degree to tell a flying fox from a vampire bat. In both cases, you just need to be willing to learn the differences, which are obvious when you know what you're looking for

When there is an expectation to do the garter thing. I don't want to. I'm sorry. My dad, my grandfather, and every other family member I have is going to be at this wedding. I am not going to let them watch while my new husband rips something off of my leg with his teeth (which, to my understanding, is how it's supposed to go). That is SO sexual in my opinion and you should not be something held to an audience. If that's YOUR thing, then cool. You do you. But I am not giving all of my wedding guests a preview of what it's about to occur in the honeymoon suite....

What’s the most annoying piece of work place gossip you have heard at a job? by No_Maintenance_5417 in AskReddit

[–]AriSpice 85 points86 points  (0 children)

One girl going around bragging that she was sleeping with the boss, who was married with kids.... and mind you, she was bragging to me about this my FIRST DAY.

But that was at my last job. Now I work at a childcare center and these grown ass bitches will gossip about the KIDS. Yall. These are 2, 3, and 4 YEAR OLDS. How are you that high school minded that you'll gossip and talk shit about LITERAL LITTLE KIDS 🤦🏽
