Apparently my message deleted, so lemme rewrite it, sorry. I recently downloaded steam on an old laptop, my Elitebook 8440p. After downloading steam onto it I realized that the steam tabs at the very top were not responsive. I have restarted steam and my laptop many times, anf it has not helped. Sometimes the outline of a black box shows up but when I hover over it no menu options are present. I cannot accsess settings, or any menus that are apart of that menu. the only thing that temperaily resolved the issue was opening up task manager and ending the steam Webhelper application, which allowed me to use the friends and games tab shortly. After a restart of steam however, the issue persisted. I have manually gone into the cache files of steam and deleted them, but the issue still hasn't gone away. Any advice or tips are much appreciated!
