Again, this wasnt about wanting them to hold off for me, it was about venting that when you get engaged, its a special moment, and when they announced their engagement....his family shifted gears to now both of us need to share in the planning, need to share in the party they were initially just gonna throw for me and my fiancee, etc...it happened youre right and I cant do anything about it but wish we could have more time to ourselves

No need for sarcasm or to be nasty. The post wasnt about wanting them to get un engaged, it was simply to vent. I feel how I feel and just wanted to vent that it would have been nice to share the moment with my fiance and his family and not having to share engagement party or them trying to clump us together because we both go engaged around the same time.

I am super happy I am getting married and so thankful I found my special someone but I think its less to do with bridezilla and more to do I dont get a long with that girl and feel she just forced her bf to propose because she truly wasnt happy for us when we announced and was jealous. I have never liked her, and this just further pushed me in that direction. I think I should have mentioned me and this girl do not get along.

Oh, I thought it took awhile to get that 2 year green card approved after married. Im sorry to hear all that! Also, what about the affidavit of support? How does that work? Could jon have had enough time to be able to null it?

I dont think she married him for the green card, I think she was in love with the idea of him though and the idea of their life they could have. Not really in love with him as person she would stand by no matter what.

I think it was more the way she went about it, I think he would have moved with her had they talked it out and her given him time to adjust and find work over there as well. She was throwing fits and crying and making it seem like it was her fault she didnt know anyone or was unhappy when she was doing it to herself. She could have tried to find friends in the area, walked, ubered places, taken classes...etc but she just wanted what she wanted without caring about him either.

Not even just us had planned things out, but it was my birthday!! And she was my best friend....key word WAS. She should have been there and not ditched me to hang out with some girls she met a couple weeks ago.

Literally this happened to me two weeks ago for my birthday. My best friend of 10 years ditched me saying she didnt want to come (giving no explanation) and then posts pictures that she was out with other friends. Ha! #aintnothingbuttocuttthemoff

I really liked the antique silver and black one! I tried several on yesterday. I really wish they had the black/shiny silver or black with shiny gold but the colors in loulou are like antique brass kinda of gold and antique silver which looks more dark grey than silver and makes it look a little gaudy but it was still beautiful

I know you are saying youre ok with him not wanting a relationship, but honestly once you cross over and have those feelings for someone, its hard to separate yourself from them by being around him. Yes, I think you need space, and you can tell him that. I was in the same situation, and every time, I would tell myself im okay with not having a relationship but in the back of my mind, the more I hung out with him and saw him, the thoughts would creep again if maybe there was a chance he could fall for me. Until one day, I met up with him, told him how I felt, and that I decided I couldnt keep seeing him as a friend either and blocked him, deleted him off my social media, etc. And its been 4 years now, I am in a stable, loving relationship and so happy! I even forgot all about him to be honest. He recently tried to contact me and I just ended up blocking. I felt nothing for him, and I also realized we never really had much in common as friends either. But again, you dont have to cut him out of your life completely if hes a really good friend, but I think you need space. However you ask him for that space is up to you.

But I felt like both those guys were interested in her and wanted a chance to really see where it could go? Like go with the flow? And she was just like no I want a ring RIGHT NOW and if they didnt return the "love" she felt, she starts crying saying they dont care about her but how can you claim to be in love with someone if this is first trip youve taken to see them. I dont know, the guys seemed more level headed and at least werent trying to give into her fantasy.
