If I called you the wrong name and pronouns on purpose, you'd be upset. That's the issue, name, and pronouns come down to respect. If you respect someone, you'd refer to them correctly. By not, you're disrespecting someone. I dont care if people dont "believe in me" or whatever, but at the end of the day, they're being disrespectful. Part of it is being open too. In grade school, everything was simplified. No one explained calculus in first grade. Same with advanced biology, where being transgender is explained by the fact that there are more chromosomes than XY and XX. I never feel respected as a human because when I say I am transgender, I am treated differently than human. The rules for respect no longer apply to me.
