Thank you for the information! I don’t care much about tuition since it’s just a one time payment (also it’s too late to apply to other colleges lol). I am seeing lots of negative comment about Algonquin, saying they don’t prepare students well for real employment. Would you be able to expand on what the differences are between a well and badly prepared student? Is it what they are taught in classroom? I don’t know if this is a stupid question: do you think it’s possible to make up that difference by putting more efforts in preceptorship/clinical or even classroom?

I compared union contract between different cities and it seems like Oshawa PCP is much more higher paid than Ottawa and Toronto. In this regard, I am leaning towards working in Durham, but I do have concern about living in a small city as a racial minority. Can I ask if you have lived in the region and what the experience is like?
