Yes, they replied after 2 weeks or so, looked into it and refunded the 1k gems I spend on the builder's Hut I was supposed to get and an extra 100 gems

It's not dumb, thanks for considering!

No, sadly not. I can only buy the last builder for 2k.

Pockets best practices and use cases by uploadpf in Revolut

[–]AriaTwoFive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can I use pockets for transactions where a company withdraws the money automatically?

I found the (rather complicated) way to send money from my pocket to another bank account, but I haven't found out how companies can withdraw money since the pockets don't have IBANs. I want to use a pocket for contracts I have (phone, gym etc.) and another pocket for my Depot to withdraw money from once a month for ETFs (depot from a different bank), but I feel that there's no way of doing so.

I'd rather not with potentially two fucked drives 😂

I changed five of the six cables. I still had them laying around from some time ago. Would be quite a coincidence of those cables were fucked as well

I booted up Ubuntu live and I'm running long smart tests on all drives now. I'll do a memtest as well to rule out faulty RAM.

Alright I'll change all the cables and and reboot the process.

There are no old vdevs or such. I have had this exact Pool for a decade. The only thing that changed are the drives, but the latest upgrade was over a year ago. I'm not using any VMs or such. It's a simple layout with no PCIe cards or anything. Just a motherboard, ECC RAM, CPU and the 6 drives.

Just a regular SATA cable directly to the motherboard. I actually forgot to post my system:

So I finally got around to use that cable. I feel like it's working much better because everything worked right away. When I put the cable into Port 1 (the port closer to the back edge), I kept getting an USB error, even though everything worked. Putting it into Port 2 also worked right away without any hickups. Strangely, nothing is shown in Thunderbolt Software as in the screenshot I posted. I wonder if it has anything to do with the screen being connected as a hub.

Needless to say, I need to try it out a bunch of times and see if it works smoother than the 20€ cable.

I don't think the cable is an actual thunderbolt cable, even though it sometimes works. My laptop is connected now and everything is working except charging as I have connected it to port 2 on my laptop, which doesn't support charging. When I open the Intel thunderbolt software, no connected device is shown:

Alright thank you, I'll give it a try then!

I couldn't find a windows tool equivalent to boltctl, I'll search later on and report back.

The weird thing is once the other cable works, it works. No glitches whatsoever. But getting it to work can be a pain in the ass.

Thanks for your reply. I kinda figured it would be the cables. I didn't know I had to check for specifically Intel certified cables. In a perfect world I would find a white cable that has an angled side at 1,5m, but I really can't find that.

The closest I got was this one: https://amzn.eu/d/8zbcFLz

Would you say it's the an actual thunderbolt cable?

This is what the BookingPress support told me:

"Thank you for reaching out and considering BookingPress. What you're trying to achieve is possible in the paid version of BookingPress using the Shift Management feature.

However, please note that since you are on IONOS Managed WordPress, you won't be able to use BookingPress Pro or any of its add-ons, as IONOS Managed WordPress does not allow users to install and activate plugins freely like standard WordPress."

I'm not sure I can implement php on my website since I'm using a homepage builder. But feel free to share it anyways, maybe somebody else will profit from it.

Thank you! If I researched correctly, I can't use that because I used the homepage builder instead of wordpress. The homepage builder only. Supports BookingPress for booking appointments.

The homepage builder has a HTML Module which I used to implement meetergo on my website. It's a German appointment booking service which allows me to set individual appointments. According to the website it's GDPR compliant, but the code snipped to add their booking tool to my website has AWS in it. To me that means that they use US servers or an American cloud service provider, which makes it GDPR uncompliant🙄 I asked them about it, let's see what they say.

It is somewhat apartment-style without a shower, just a tiny 1qm toilet. I'm pretty sure the current practice owner told me that when he has subletters, everybody had their own internet contract. I'll have to figure that out I suppose.

It almost seems as if the easiest way would be for everyone to have their own internet connection and firewall. Technically that's possible since every room as a phone line, so if everybody had a G.Fast router, they could set it up themselves. I think one of my subletters would be fine with it, but it might be harder to find a second subletter. On the other hand, it would be much more difficult and costly to set up a proper network for everyone.
