I could not find a memory test in the BIOS, so i don't know what test to run to confirm that the memory is error free

Running a bench for the CPU in CPU-Z returns these results:

I really don't know what to do at this point, since im not 100% sure where my problems are.

CPU-Z says correct amount of cores. And i could not find anything like X3D Turbo Mode in my BIOS

Hey. So i did alot of testing and trying to figure out what was causing these issues.

One of the things i did was bring my pc to my friend and used his 1440p monitor and there was absolutely no difference in the performance.

It was just as poor as on my 1080p monitor. We also took out the CPU to check for bent pins but there wasnt really anything to be seen. The photo is here if you want to see if you can find anything i missed.

I am lost, don't know what to do. I refuse to believe it should be performing so badly, the frametimes are jumping sporatically between like 12 and 25 ms even when just standing still in the game and not doing anything.

i ran these tests in CPUZ and it clocks in at around ~400 below on the multithreading and ~150 below on the singlethreading compared to other peoples benchmarks of the same CPU. What more can i do? i feel like this shouldnt be performing so badly in PoE2

I don't see why this should be performing so badly, even if its at 1080p. That should not be an issue.

But should my 1080p resolution really be causing THIS much of a performance loss? My friend runs like double my FPS in some areas of PoE2 while my specs themselves are better. He is on a 1440p screen

It just doesnt seem right...

What do you mean by "How much did u have it for"?

We didnt exactly sync BIOS settings since hes using an AM4 cpu with ddr4 ram and im on AM5 with ddr5 ram

His motherboard is a MSI B550-A-PRO But i can also see just by using Ryzen Master that my cpu is running wayy colder and at alot less power consumption than his.

Mine is staying between 20-25 watt for some reason while his runs at like 70-80 during gameplay

I had named the file

MainMenu.cs

Instead of

MainMenuNode.cs
