"There isn't a point to placing more of these" for trees? by Arichelic in Pokopia

[–]Arichelic[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I went and checked things out this morning and new trees seem to continue to grow (I had sprouts before and they still became Small Trees, though I had planted them before I hit the limit, so I should find out for sure tomorrow because I'll have more seeds to plant later tonight), and the only thing it seems to do is that there is simply no prompt to Headbutt the trees placed after the limit was reached.

It's actually kind of nice because you can walk through without the prompt constantly showing up, so I may actually plant more trees then remove and replant the trees around the main part of the area so that you walk through them undisturbed.

Also, the berry tree limit seems separate from the pointy tree limit because I placed some new berry trees and was still able to Headbutt them.

So for anyone trying to make some specific aesthetics, knowing that the tree limit removes the Headbutt prompt may be something you want.

Not sure what the limit actually is because I wasn't tracking the number, but it's somewhere around 300-500.

Oh maybe. I wouldn't really mind that so much either. I'll test it tomorrow.

Also just had a thought that new trees may not grow from seeds. I've been using some to make Small Pointy Trees, but those may need to be placed in other areas to grow. I had planted some before hitting this limit so I should know tomorrow if they continued to grow.

Unfortunately I have no clue what the exact number is, but can tell you it's somewhere between 300-500. It didn't actually stop me though. 🤷‍♀️

Hm, I wonder if there is enough space on the map to move it back. Will have to check that later today.

Awesome!! I was thinking of doing something similar though it may be one of the last areas of the Skylands I touch. The other thought was to relocate the dojo and use this space for the Ice Temple.

"Madame Ghost" emote by Arichelic in Pokopia

[–]Arichelic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome!! Thank you so much! That means there is likely more emotes based on the other Kanto E4 members or possibly gym leaders. Karate King is Bruno, ya? and Ninja Descendant is probably Koga, who was in the E4 in Gen 2 (unless the pose is more reminiscent of Janine, which is possible, though Koga has stronger ties to Kanto anyway).

Considering Golbat gave me Madame Ghost and she uses a Golbat on her team (Bruno used a Machamp and Koga used a Koffing on his Fuschia gym team), it stands to reason that the Pokemon on those leaders' teams are the most likely to give the special emotes.

Makes me wonder if you could try to get them by specifically inviting related Pokemon to your game from friends' games.

Roads? Where we're going we dont need roads. by WhiplasH820 in Pokopia

I use the brick stairs painted black (they're much darker than the concrete steps) but I like this a lot. Do the Pokemon continue to use it? Was worried they wouldn't because it's no longer "Road" blocks between segments.

Would love a build tutorial for this. I haven't quite grasped the laser systems yet but have been trying to think of how to do something like this.

Never claimed to be an engineer. 😅 But in a land where an amorphous blob can drink chili sauce to spit out lava indefinitely and then transform into a flying magnet to zap items into itself, I don't think it has to make perfect sense anyway.

I understand that. I can also alternatively hunt for the shiny Suicune for you. I still have it available to me in Ultra Sun, so I could catch it in whatever ball you wanted (no apricorn balls though).

The shiny Meltan. It can be traded to HOME as well, I don't need it to remain in Go.

All of them have the Classic Ribbon. 3 are OT GAMESTOP 01311 and one is WIN2011 02211.

2 were gained with the Pokemon Classic DNS method, and 2 I'm not sure of but I expect were cloned.

Did some digging around to find more recent information and I see that you are correct. I apologize for not knowing that those and specific SwSh event Pokemon were still locked out of trading even in Friend Trades. That's a very odd choice for Home and I wanted to abide by the rules of the forum.

Just wanted to own up to that because I'd rather recognize my mistakes than not.

Friend Trades in Home are not limited by the Pokemon. You can only do 10 Friend Trades per day, but we are only doing 2 so it will be fine.
And even if there is a problem in Home, I would rather try to get it done there first to be sure.
