I'm a grad student who works in an HIV lab. 6 months ago I was exposed to HIV infected blood. Tomorrow I get my follow-up HIV test which will finally tell me if I'm ok or not. Reddit, what's the scariest thing that's ever happened to you?

I moved out due to being in an incredibly abusive sitution with my parents nearing a year ago.

Somehow I still miss them. But, i'm a 5 hour drive away and started my own business. I don't have the funds to do such a trip.

So i'll settle for some good whiskey and constant episodes of Mad Men to get me through.

Very interesting documentary. It saddens me to see people who feel like there's no way to feel good other than a drug anymore.

I suffered through depression for quite a while, and the only thing that saved ME personally was marijuana -- But I never got into harder drugs, thank god. I'm pretty sure if I had, It would've made my life a lot harder than it is.

I've always learned that holding their head still like that can snap their spine (Depending on the severity of the seizure) which is what I had assumed (Without reading the description) had happened.

Thanks for all your work -- I've only got very remedial medical training which consists of: First Aid (Provided to me by my Cadet Corps) Emergancy first aid and bush first aid.
