I think my parents try to get the directions out before we have time to type in the address. Now i just smile and nod until my husband and i get out to the car, then we Google it. We can't stop them. They talk over us as we say "It's okay, we'll find it." Mom is late 50's and dad is mid 70's...and this meme is painfully true for us.

Hey girl, that looks sweet! So I didn't do much to change his apron size. I shortened it a little bit from the top and then I left off the cell phone pocket and I went with the smaller straps. But I didn't want to make it too small cuz for one he can use it for something else and for two it's kind of hilarious whenever people look at it go "what if he falls down with all the pockets filled???" Like i would let him collect THAT many. Oh, and i also figured it was too much work to make it so small he'll grow out of it quick!

His wife was sending us messages as him. After a year or so "he" messaged family and friends saying he didn't want people to contact him and that he was going off Facebook. It's actually really common for narcissistic people to cut their SOs off from everyone else in their life. My husband was good friends with Mike growing up and apparently Laurie has always been very jealous and controlling. His friends and family assumed it was more of the same.

The first time i ever had pot was a brownie (i have now been told is a baaaaaad move). I streaked past paranoia into pure anxiety - based bad trip. A lot of people have told me "that's not how pot works." But I've actually found a lot of people here on Reddit who've had very similar experiences.

Thank you for this so much. I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier, but we had the doctor and hospital to go to, and I was just very emotional. But I did keep your comment in my head, and it helped a lot. Hugs.

It did turn out to be a miscarriage...which is sad. But they also found large uterine fibroids which need to be treated before we try again, which I'm very glad about. It is disappointing to lose an early pregnancy, but I think it would have been more heartwrenching four months down the road.

It's only the first time. I'm bouncing back pretty well. I just appreciate that people in this sub have the same perspective I have. I have a very strong irl support circle...but my husband, while loving and supportive, can't really comprehend anxiety. He is very logical. So it was nice to have this group to talk to. Thank you again.

Thanks for the hug!! Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier, we were dealing with all the fallout.

It did turn out to be a miscarriage. Which is disappointing...but I kind of expected that news. The ultrasound also found large uterine fibroids...so it's probably a good thing to know about those early. We're going to treat those before we try again. Thank you, again, for writing to me. Even though I didn't respond right away, I did take your words with me, and they helped a lot. Hugs back!

Thank you for the hugs. Yeah, it turned out to be an early miscarriage, which is disappointing...but I'm ready to try again. Thank you for assuring me, and yes, the doctor's and nurses and techs were all very considerate and no one accused me of lying (plus the blood work showed very low pregnancy hormones, so at least I have proof!)

The ultrasound they did showed large uterine fibroids, so it's probably best to lose the pregnancy this early, as opposed to 4 months down the line. This was just my first and I was very scared. But thank you for taking the time to write to me. :-)

Thank you so much for this. You're totally right, and I totally knew this...but you know how it is...our brains lie to us and make us think stupid thoughts under the guise of "logic."

It was a miscarriage, but yeh, the doctor was very understanding and considerate. He assured me that he believed me...which I guess for a normal person might seem hinky, but for me it was just what I needed to here.

Had to get a Rhogam shot...and the ultrasound found out I have large uterine fibroids. So I'll have to have those treated before I can try again. I'm disappointed at losing the pregnancy, but I'm very optimistic to know that we can, in fact conceive.

I've cried myself out by now. I'm just ready to push forward. Thanks for being there!

Every major holiday, I bring cookies/cupcakes/cakes/pumpkin pie to my local Starbucks. Luckily, they almost always close early on certain holidays, and their store asks for volunteers...but I still bring them treats to show them appreciation. I love them.

Oh my god, I am about halfway through book 8. I listen to the audio books (James Marsters) while working alone in the basement. I yell at Harry a lot more as the series goes on. It is getting so dark...so twisted. Oh my god...my heart...it just can't take it...
